We thought we would kick off the summer a little early this year. The weather was so amazing last weekend that we went on a bikeride on the greenbelt. Half way through our ride Danny and Valerie did a bit of swimming at the lake behind Veterans' Memorial Park. Valerie thought it was pretty cold at first, but before we knew it she was having the time of her life.
That diaper weighed like 10 pounds when she was finished.
Last night we tried out our new firepit in the backyard. Valerie wasn't much into the s'mores, but she would have eaten chocolate all night if we had let her.
Now Memorial Day weekend is here and summer can officially begin. Despite the forecast it is a beautiful day and we're off to play. Happy Summer everyone!

I can't believe Valerie didn't like the s'mores. I understand the chocolate eating, but s'mores makes it even better! What a funny little girl. The diaper picture is priceless. I hope you guys have a fun Memorial Day weekend!
I love chocolate too!! I can't wait to come and play in a couple weeks.
