The New Natural Wonders of the WorldOrganizers of the competition to name the “New 7 Natural Wonders of the World” have narrowed down the choices to 28 finalists, after considering 77 sites (from an original list of more than 250 candidates) that received the most votes in a global poll. Winners of the three-year contest are expected to be announced in 2011.
